Soul Age on the Physical Level

Years ago, a dear friend gave me an interesting reading on a printout. It was named a channeling of the archangel Michael on the ages of Soul.
I have kept reading this paper to other people occasionally when it feels like the right place and time. Firstly, to share this beautiful way of looking at deep esoteric matters and secondly, to see their reaction to this.
For me, personally, this text resonates deeply and reminds me of the different paths we as humans are experiencing, and we often get stuck in judging our own because we can´t understand what and why is happening to us in the way life does.

May this knowledge illuminate your path and bless your being.

As consciousness develops, the fragment goes through different soul ages. Soul age does not so much indicate the number of lives lived. It shows the soul's growth and experience that it has gathered on the planet.

On the physical plane, there are seven age cycles. Five of them are fully subject to the laws of human body development. These are Baby Age, Childhood, Youth, Maturity, and Old Age. Each of these cycles has seven levels. The remaining two soul ages are Transcendent Soul and Infinite/Boundless Soul.

We come to the physical level as Baby Souls. During subsequent lives, our soul age increases, and we reach the seventh level of the Baby's Soul, then move to the first level of the Child's Soul, and so on. We start each life again as a Baby Soul and then progress to higher levels until we reach the highest level that our soul achieved in the previous life. However, we don't always manage to reach that level in our everyday lives. Sometimes, we allow ourselves to "get stuck" at considerably earlier levels.

"Older" doesn't necessarily mean "better", because each soul age has its own tasks. Therefore, one who makes enormous efforts to cope with the tasks of the higher level of an Old Soul may not seem as "advanced" as one who effortlessly handles tasks that face their soul at a much younger age.

On average, it takes three lives to transition to the next level. Not all souls "move" at the same speed. Some may complete all the physical level lessons in 50 lives, while others may take 300 lives. We can move to the next level at any moment when we feel ready for it. This can happen between lives, but it can also happen during a lifetime. Some rapidly progressing souls can pass through several levels in one life if they focus on their spiritual development. Transitions from one age to another may be accompanied by changes in lifestyle and life conditions. However, speed itself is not important. Each fragment moves forward at its own pace.

The Soul Ages

Baby/Infant Soul

We come to this planet as Baby Souls. In this cycle, we take care of ourselves, adapting to the new physical existence and learning to survive. Baby Souls usually settle in primitive cultures and civilizations where the element of struggle for survival is important. These souls are interested in the conditions/circumstances of the physical level but do not notice that other people's desires may not coincide with their own. They do not open up emotionally, as their emotional nature is not yet fully developed.

In a much more developed society, Baby Souls seem out of place; they don't fit into society. Baby Souls are still connected to the Dao and their "religion" is sun worship and nature in general. At birth, the Baby aspect of the soul manifests, regardless of whether it is the highest level we have already achieved or not.

This aspect is associated with our original, instinctive nature and learning to survive in a human body. It is closely connected to Earth, especially Mother Earth, the feminine aspect of the planet. We can observe this in children who love to mess around in mud and play with insects, frogs, and lizards. Adult people connect with their soul's Baby aspect through rituals - shamanic dances, music, sacred sex, drugs, playing percussion instruments, and various face and body painting ornaments.

The Baby part of the soul can also be evoked in various physical states - for example, in illness, trauma, or enlightenment, when contact with the primary sources of energy occurs. We sense our soul's Baby part when there is a threat to our life or well-being, for example, when we lose a job. Warfare, hunting, late walks alone in dangerous areas, horror movies, and situations that generate primal fears in us bring us into contact with our soul's Baby aspect.

If we can remain neutral towards fear, such experiences give us a stimulating flow of adrenaline into the blood, "chills" down the spine, and sharpening of perception. With such sharpening of perception, our Instinctive Center opens to our essence so that it is aware of danger and can react to it immediately. Generally, Baby Soul experiences are physically intense, primal, and mystical - in the sense that they bring a person into connection with forces that are significantly greater than their consciousness.

Baby Souls at the lower rungs of the social ladder often seem strange and undeveloped to other people. Usually, they do not try to find permanent work because it seems burdensome and difficult to them. The Earth as a whole has come quite close to the moment when the last Baby Soul will incarnate on it.

Currently, there are significantly fewer beings at the beginning of the cycle than just a hundred years ago. Baby Souls usually prefer to reincarnate elsewhere. Firstly, because the Earth is a bit "worn out", there is hard work ahead, and therefore most "newcomers" decide to start on younger planets. Moreover, the average age of souls on Earth is approaching maturity, adulthood, and every soul incarnating for the first time is forced to catch up with the general mass. Michael claims that falling too far behind the rest is not pleasant for any soul.

Young Souls

Young souls have already learned to live in society, maintain order, and behave there. Now, they are learning to consolidate in the image of power that Child Souls seek. Young souls are more oriented towards the physical side of life. They strongly identify with their body and ego. Such people find it very difficult to acknowledge their physical age, often resorting to cosmetic surgery to continue looking young and attractive.

Young souls are very skeptical of any phenomena that do not fit into the framework of science. They are not interested in mystical or religious things more than is acceptable in society. They often consider life after death to be nonsense, and as a result, they fear death.

These souls have a strong motivation to achieve success in the field they have chosen, and they work intensively for it. The ideal for such a soul is an outstanding, rich, successful person - the kind usually shown on television screens. A young soul thinks that it is what it owns. It sees the world through the prism of polarity: good-bad, right-wrong. Young souls think that those who disagree or don't agree with them are automatically wrong and, therefore, deserve censure, punishment, and contempt.

They are often interested in politics. Souls like Alexander the Great, William the Conqueror, and Genghis Khan became founders of great empires.

The young aspect of our soul is the part of our nature that has learned to make independent decisions. This aspect can fulfill leadership functions, especially in areas related to the physical level. We use our young aspect when we pull ourselves together, discipline ourselves, and aim to achieve success. From the perspective of this aspect, "right" is what helps it achieve its goals, and "wrong" is what hinders it. This part of us is not as emotional as the Child or Mature part. It is egocentric and oriented towards achieving its set goals. They consider people who refuse to recognize their values as "weird". A good example of Young Soul politics is the arms race. Behind it is the philosophy "If I don't get ahead, then others will get ahead of me".

Problems with toxic emissions that have poisoned the entire globe are the result of Young Soul civilization. In the race for success, they care little about far-reaching consequences. Young souls are quite productive, inventive, and fully oriented towards a specific goal. Issues of morality and ethics usually do not enter their field of vision.

In an effort to "leave a mark on the earth", young souls can show extraordinary work capacity. At the same time, they do not always strive for what they really like, but mostly what they think will pave their way to success. They prefer to learn how the "world is arranged" in order to then use this knowledge for their own benefit. Some of these people have innate abilities to make the economic system "dance to their own tune" and with apparent ease turn hundreds of dollars into thousands and millions into billions.

In the Young Soul stage, the soul always dreams of buying a more expensive car and acquiring a prestigious apartment in the most expensive area of the city.

As Young Souls do not excel in emotional openness, they rarely become good parents capable of achieving a strong bond with children. And yet they buy their child anything that pleases them - from a doll in a beautiful carriage to outrageously expensive French dresses. After all, a child can also be an indicator of social position! Their children drown in toys, jewelry, and diplomas from all kinds of educational institutions, drive around in expensive cars, and flaunt fashionable hairstyles. They are prepared for a brilliant career, marriage or taking a wife. After all, the success of children reflects glory on their ambitious parents. If children show their feelings, it does not find approval from their parents (who are Young Souls, after all!).

Young Souls recognize generally accepted religious views but do not demonstrate particular fanaticism, which is characteristic of Child Souls. You may see them in church discussing business matters and making useful acquaintances, but you will hardly see them praying fervently. You won't see them fiercely condemning their neighbors for not being religious, either.

Young souls identify completely with their bodies and do not believe that consciousness lives on after death. Therefore, they are willing to be frozen in special chambers, they have plastic surgeries on their nose, chin, waist or hips. Thanks to the fact that they put their health and even life at risk and endure pain and material costs for the sake of beauty, cosmetic medicine has become the most profitable business.

In the young age of the soul, there is a drive for creativity that blossoms in Mature age.

The advantages of orienting to the young aspect of our soul are that it gives self-confidence and orients towards achieving goals and success in human relationships - especially career-related. Older souls who do not value this aspect or look down on it feel that there is a danger to their existence and, therefore, begin to pay too little attention to the physical side of their life. So, in order for us to function normally on this planet, the young aspect must be balanced with all the others.

Mature Soul

The Mature Soul has already dealt with issues of success and power and has reached a point where it begins to open up to emotions. Mature souls are not as selfish and are more oriented towards the people around them. However, they do not open up to the whole world as a whole, but first to relatives and close ones, considering these relationships much more important than success and career.

Mature souls feel their connection to fellow humans, identifying with them and viewing them as their reflection. This quality gives Mature souls an aura of sincerity that distinguishes them from other ages. The greatest insult for a Mature soul is to do something that they themselves would not do to another person. Mature souls are not as militant as Young ones because they see themselves in other people. But often, their life passes in emotional turmoil and torment - they try to open up emotionally. It is Mature souls who often experience cases of drug addiction, suicide, and debilitating incurable diseases.

The mature aspect of our soul begins to develop after the young aspect reaches its peak of development. It begins with the realization that "life can't be just this". Sometimes, people find it necessary to suppress the young aspect of their soul, causing poverty, tragic losses, and illnesses in their lives. They do this to show their maturity. Usually, this is facilitated by relationships characterized by great emotional intensity. For Mature and Old souls, this period often comes in the third decade of physical life.

When we have reached the level of Mature or Old Soul, we can use our mature aspect as the part that contributes to relationships with surrounding people and the planet. "Surrounding" people may include close friends, relatives, colleagues, social or political organizations, and humanity as a whole. The value of the mature aspect lies in the development of conscience and compassion, supporting emotional connection, and giving and receiving love. Those who ignore this aspect sense a regression of their emotional sphere and appear arrogant/haughty/presumptuous, callous and alienated.

A Mature soul wants to be "like everyone else" and therefore tries to understand those around them and be accepted in the collective. Such a desire can be expressed through clothing, speech, manner of behavior. From this point of view, the behavior of a Mature soul is a development of Child soul behavior because both types deal with collective consciousness.

In the Mature soul stage, the soul's creative abilities reach their peak. Philosophy and art occupy the main place in life. The illusory nature and transience of the world is revealed to the person, there is no longer a clear path in life for them, they cannot fully clarify their feelings. Nothing seems as rock-solid as in the child or young phase anymore. The hippie movement in many countries testified to the fact that society was approaching the level of Mature soul age, and the unconditional recognition of Young soul values ended.

Remaining incomprehensible and unacceptable among Young and Child souls, the Mature soul is drawn to the company of its own kind. They are usually attracted to higher education, but their orbit of interest is small, non-traditional educational institutions. They have their own personal priorities and authorities. To the amazement of their young brethren, they often refuse well-paid jobs or respectable positions in society in order to do something that is important only in their own eyes.

The period of maturity is full of intense searches in both the inner and outer world. Non-traditional beliefs, meditation, and metaphysics are of particular interest, while the horizons of the outer world expand through experiments with sex, exotic clothes, and overseas cuisine. By the way, almost all the world's highly qualified cooks are Mature souls.

As the planet transitions to the dominance of mature perception, we see how people begin to be interested in emotional harmony on the planet as a whole. With the acceptance of mature perception, spiritual consciousness appears, and mature and old souls can express themselves much more freely when they reach the appropriate age.

Old Soul

The Old soul has already learned all the intricacies of emotional life and turns its attention to spiritual growth. Old souls learn how to be free from the emotional intensity of the maturity cycle and the physical level as a whole. They have a much more intellectual approach to existence than Mature souls; they can perceive that Greater of which we are all part. Old souls need to complete their experience on the physical level and work through all karma before moving on to astral-level lessons.

The early stages of the Old Soul are characterized by turning inward, inner searches, and a sense of being foreign bodies in society. When this aspect is "opened" and internally fully understood, the next stage arrives, characterized by the question: "How to live in society?" For an Old soul, this means searching for ways to express/realize oneself in one's personal life and career so that they correspond to their inner higher purpose/predestination.

In a society dominated by young souls, there is not a wide range of roles for the Old ones. In such a society, there is a noticeable tendency for them to depreciate themselves, to consider themselves insignificant; they know that they do not conform to the "norm", and this is why they consider themselves misfits, unsuccessful people. Old souls usually study a number of religious teachings but eventually arrive at their own system of beliefs, which combines various aspects of the most diverse spiritual theories.

An Old soul can rise above or beyond the hustle and bustle in the world and make contact with a much more grandiose idea of being. It does not identify with the tragedies of being human, does not get stuck in them, it can look at itself from the side and with humor. It cultivates philosophical detachment, humor, and non-identification while maintaining a connection with something Greater. Old souls learn to swim with the flow, not fight against their circumstances.

Our Old Soul aspect is the part of us that agrees to teach fellow humans and helps them move in the direction they have chosen in their spiritual development. Most Old souls teach by their personal example. Along with the teaching profession, they have the task of integrating and balancing all aspects of the soul, from baby to old. They must solve this before ending their existence on the physical level.

The last stage of an Old soul is agape or unconditional love for oneself and surrounding people. This is the most difficult lesson because it requires forgiving oneself and the ability to love fellow humans without condemning the path they have chosen. When all aspects of being human are fully accepted, then the Old soul is ready to move to the next level of existence.

Among Old souls, there are much fewer celebrities than among Mature and Young souls, and if fame/honor does come to them, it's as teachers - Old souls are called to teach people.

Transcendental Soul

This Soul is a representative of such a collective being that has completed its learning on the physical level and whose fragments have united on the astral level. The representative of this reunited "collective" (this is a complex concept that is practically impossible to explain comprehensibly here and about which information will be given to Earth in the future!) incarnates again on the physical level in order to tell its students (or rather, the students of its being) about the predetermined connection between everything in the Universe, as it appears from much higher levels. Transcendent souls can come from any higher level: astral, causal, mental, messianic, or Buddhist level. All collective beings send Transcendent souls at least once to one parallel universe.

Transcendent souls sometimes enter a newborn infant, but most often, they use the body of a seventh-level Old soul who has agreed to this exchange. Usually they use this body for no longer than 3-4 years - the physical body simply cannot withstand their intense energy for longer, i.e. "cannot carry it out". Sometimes, they can be in the body for 10 or even 20 years, but they almost never live their whole lives in it.

During transition periods like now, more Transcendent souls appear. They prepare the planet for the manifestation of the Infinite soul. Examples of Transcendent souls include Socrates, Mohammed, Zoroaster, Mahatma Gandhi, Yogananda, and Saint Francis of Assisi.

Transcendent souls do not always know who they are in essence. Unlike the Infinite soul, Transcendent souls are not always blessed with "superhuman" abilities. They are primarily examples of balanced personalities, identifying with collective consciousness. It is characteristic of Transcendent souls to see themselves as part of the human community - not as seekers of their personal path.

Infinite/Boundless Soul

The Infinite Soul is the representative of the cadre who has reunited. When entering a physical body, the Infinite Soul retains the consciousness of the Dao. In other words, the Infinite Soul is aware of its essence, its higher purpose, and its supernatural abilities. The Infinite Soul comes to teach and help the planet during transition periods to the next age levels.

Jesus Christ was an expression of the Infinite Soul, who until the last years of his life was an Old Soul at the 7th level in the King role. In that incarnation, the Infinite Soul helped the planet transition from the cycle of Baby Souls to the cycle of Young Souls. In the future, the Infinite Soul may incarnate in more than one individual to help transition from the Young Soul level to the collective consciousness of the Mature Soul.

Other Infinite Souls were Lao Tzu, Sri Krishna, and Gautama Buddha.

The Seven Levels of Soul Age

Each soul age has seven consecutive subdivisions called levels/stages.

First Level

This is an introductory level where we experiment with our new age. First-level souls operate two-thirds of the time from the position of their previous age. For example, if they are first-level Old Souls, they mainly act as Mature Souls. A first-level Baby Soul maintains its close connection with the Dao. This level is the beginning of growth.

Second Level

The second level is difficult because we split ourselves between the comfort of the previous age and the opening perspectives of the new age. Second-level souls alternate between manifesting in their new age and in the old one. By the end of the second level, we must completely dispel the habits and attachments of the old age.

Third Level

When we reach the third level, we operate entirely within the framework of the respective age, but our perception is turned inward. We look inside ourselves and try to understand the internal issues related to our new age. Third-level souls are prone to introspection and are calmer than other souls.

Fourth Level

At the fourth level, we bring our new perception into the world. At this level, we are active and noticeable. This is also the level of karma formation, where we establish relationships with the surrounding world. These relationships stand out for their strong karmic intensity. The fourth level can resemble the sixth: in the fourth, we form karma; in the sixth, we cleanse it.

Fifth Level

The fifth level is distinguished by its eccentricity. We start to "peek" towards our next age. We have reached one peak of the Himalayan heights and see even higher mountains ahead that need to be conquered – this example well illustrates the experience of the fifth level. At the fifth level, we lose the stability and sense of security of our habitual perception; we feel the urge to prepare for a new field of activity.

Fifth-level souls feel they don't quite fit into their surroundings and try to find ways to overcome their eccentricity. The more cardinal roles – Warriors, Kings, and Scholars – try to pass through this level as quickly as possible. More mobile roles – Priests, Slaves, and especially Artisans and Sages – can learn to derive satisfaction from this level, as it provides an opportunity to explore unusual aspects of their nature.

Sixth Level

This is one of the most active levels because we come to the end of our karma accumulated in this or previous cycles. We are drawn to being in society and meeting people with whom we have unfinished relationships. Sixth-level souls are mobile and don't stay in one place for long unless their karma demands it. At this level, we may be more sociable than is typical for our nature as a whole, because we need to establish contact with people we need.

The sixth level of a Mature Soul is one of the most responsible levels. There is a danger of losing the awareness that we need to take care of ourselves in the midst of our external relationships. As we approach the end of this level, we begin to teach others what we know and prepare for the seventh level.

Seventh Level

At the seventh level, we rest from the stormy activity of the sixth level and find a suitable methodology to teach others what we have learned during the cycle. This is one of the most pleasant levels because we can withdraw from the karmic intensity of the sixth level and learn to swim with the current of life again. As a seventh-level Young Soul, we may begin to teach people how to achieve success. A seventh-level Mature Soul tends to give advice concerning the emotional sphere. A seventh-level Old Soul can pass on to students the sum of knowledge gathered throughout all their lives lived on the planet. One of the requirements for completing the physical experience is that the soul successfully teaches someone else.

Essences can return as seventh-level Old Souls as many times as they wish until they decide to complete their cycle on the planet.
